Feelings on Doctored Things

When I see a photo now I think about how they could have fixed or changed it in anyway. Now that I have been shown what people do to photos to make people think lies that are not true, it makes me want to not trust anything anymore. People have these ideas of buety and other things that no one knows about that is not true because, someone thought it was okay to change the truth for what at the time seemed right. These things, these events lead to things that in the long run isn't the same great idea that was started with. I mean it starts with changing something to make it look better to make someone else look better, but it could end up changing something to make it look bad in order to hurt or harm someone else. That's the thing people change the imperfect things and not understand that nothing is: a) perfect, and b) nothing has to be perfect. People have this notion of always being in their own pretend land and don't want to deal with the real world. However, I agree that lies are more interesting then the truth.
I saw a doctored photo of olympic skates Tanya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan together in the same ice skating rank. When I saw that right away I knew it was doctored because I've heard of their rivery and they would never be on the ice together. The messed up thing about the photo isn't that they lied, more that they were the New York Newsday they're sopossed to be the kind of people that you trust to give the real news, then they come and lie to you like that. That is really wrong. The sort of other wierd way I could tell that they weren't on the ice together is because of the way they were postioned. If anyone knows about figure skating they know that you can't lean that far to the left (or our right) unless you're going around the ice and she clearly wasn't doing that. Another thing I don't understand is if it's a lie and the people they are talking about know it's not true why do they do it anyway.
I think the media should figure out a way to rebuild our trust because, if they dotor (change) a photo they could change a story for people to hate somone or something. I'm not saying changing things sometimes isn't good, but to see that most of our history or our pespective of things is basied on lies hurts. Because of someone's one lie more lies formed and then that lead to present day where things don't pass the limit of what we think is buety or what the media has put in our minds. It is the media's fault that people are put down because of their pyhsical apearence and more. However, it is also resposible for our entertanment.
